Progress, death and conflict: An Ethiopian possible future

The conflict between Egypt and Ethiopia due to the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) in the Blue Nile River is a matter of great concern in the African continent, as the world may be experiencing the emergence of a new regional power in NorthEast Africa. The GERD will facilitate Ethiopia the possibility of selling cheap hydroelectric energy to other neighbouring countries, benefiting itself economically.
